Tom Parker Coaching - Kayak Coaching and Guiding

Norway 2007

Norway is one of the most visually stunning countries in the world, full stop. The western fjords, from where the Norse sailed forth to plunder Northern England will leave you speechless and the central mountains of the Oppland have a poetic majesty.

Add to this some of the world’s best and most accessible white water and you have the recipe for an exceptional experience.

This year, we’ve teamed up with the guys at Liquid Satisfaction to offer you the opportunity to discover the myriad white water options Norway has to offer.

Here’s a sample programme:

Day one: Arrive at Oslo Gardemoen. We’ll pick you up and whisk you north to Sjoa where you’ll be able to relax and meet the rest of the crew.

Day two: We’ll establish aims and objectives, before going for a shakedown paddle to blow away the cobwebs.

Day three: A look at practical river safety solutions.

Day four: Time to head to one of the local steeper runs to focus on developing your core creeking skills.

Day five: Time to focus on developing safe group strategies in advanced situations.

Day six: Final paddle to put all of the concepts we’ve covered into practice on one of the local steeper runs, as well as bag some nice pics and video!

Day seven: Depart for Oslo Gardemoen
